Morocco-based digital ticketing platform\u00a0Guichet.com\u00a0has raised $309,000 (\u00a3237,000\/\u20ac281,000) in equity financing.<\/p>\n
The financing was raised from the 212 Founders programme through CDG Invest, which is the investment arm of Moroccan investment bank, CDG Capital.<\/p>\n
Guichet.com\u00a0was founded in 2019 by Moulnakhla Ahmed Tawfik and allows partners to sell and monitor ticketing in real time. The platform is used by thousands of customers and has hosted over 1,000 events including multiple festivals and sporting matches.<\/p>\n
Moulnakhla said<\/a>: \u201cI am proud of the trust placed in me by the 212 Founders teams and of having participated in a program that has resulted in the birth of small international companies.<\/p>\n \u201cThis partnership will enable\u00a0Guichet.com\u00a0to strengthen its position and face new challenges serenely beyond the Kingdom\u2019s borders.\u201d<\/p>\n Guichet.com\u00a0hopes the new funding will be able to expand to other desirable African markets.<\/p>\n Youssef Mamou, director of CDG Invest\u2019s 212 Founders Program, added: \u201cWe are honoured to be part of\u00a0Guichet.com\u2019s ambitious development and expansion strategy.
