{"id":1008,"date":"2022-03-14T04:23:18","date_gmt":"2022-03-14T11:23:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.goticketly.com\/index.php\/2022\/03\/14\/new-music-and-cultural-venues-announced-for-london\/"},"modified":"2022-03-14T04:23:18","modified_gmt":"2022-03-14T11:23:18","slug":"new-music-and-cultural-venues-announced-for-london","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.goticketly.com\/index.php\/2022\/03\/14\/new-music-and-cultural-venues-announced-for-london\/","title":{"rendered":"New music and cultural venues announced for London\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> [ad_1]<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>London is set for a new open-air venue that will hold one-off events and festivals.<\/p>\n<p>Event management company Broadwick Live has unveiled the new venue, Dockyards, which is a 400,000-square-foot space on the bank of the River Thames.<\/p>\n<p>Dockyards will be based right next to London City Airport and is due to run events all year round.<\/p>\n<p>The venue overlooks the iconic river in Silvertown Quays and will be used for music and cultural events, as well as being made available as a space to film and for brand experiences.<\/p>\n<p>Dockyards\u2019 first event will be Defected London, a music festival dedicated to the house genre, which is set to take place on September 3-4.<\/p>\n<p>Defected will be followed up by another festival just one week later.
