DeFy Tickets has been launched by production and promotion company Fortress Presents, which organises the Fortress Festival. DeFy is a non-fungible token (NFT) blockchain ticketing platform that is available to US ticket buyers. The platform offers digital smart tickets that can be bought and sold as NFTs on the Polygon Blockchain.<\/p>\n
Inaugural DeFy concerts include performances from artists such as Gucci Mane and Lupe Fiasco, who will be performing at live venue complex, Wild Acre Live.<\/p>\n
The Portland Timbers, a Major League Soccer (MLS) club, has partnered with Shift4, an integrated payments and commerce technology company.<\/p>\n
The partnership will integrate Shift4\u2019s technology, including point-of-sale (POS) hardware, mobile ordering, e-commerce, self-service kiosks and more. Shift4\u2019s VenueNext sports and entertainment platform will also provide the Timbers with a comprehensive payment solution as well as a seamless integration with the club\u2019s existing partners for ticketing and concessions, SeatGeek and Levy.<\/p>\n
Ticketing industry personnel Joe Loverde and Chris Honsberger have launched a new platform that utilises blockchain and NFT technology. NeonOx is a blockchain ticketing solutions provider for individuals, companies and promoters.<\/p>\n
Fans will receive their digital smart ticket, which means that organisers can track its activity in real time, communicate directly with fans and notify them of any event changes or push special offers. When the event finishes, the ticket image is minted into an NFT to become a digital collectible.<\/p>\n
Honsberger said: \u201cWe\u2019re staying ahead of this ever-evolving industry to make cutting-edge technology accessible to everyone \u2013 from blockchain beginners to encryption experts. We believe NFTs are the future and the companies that boldly embrace this technology will become the leaders of their industries.\u201d<\/p>\n
Singer-songwriter Camila Cabello is set to treat fans to an immersive concert on video sharing social media platform, TikTok.<\/p>\n
Cabello will play songs from her new album \u2018Familia\u2019 on April 7, the day before the record is due to be released.<\/p>\n
The online performance has been created using XR (extended reality), which will help produce a virtual world for each song to complement changing sets, costumes and choreography.<\/p>\n
