Singapore Indoor Stadium (pictured) will hold its first large-scale concert since the start of the pandemic, when Taiwanese singer A-Lin kicks off her A-Link With Passengers world tour in May.<\/p>\n

The city-state\u2019s 8,000-capacity venue has not held a large-scale concert since December 2019, and was set to welcome shows from Green Day and K-Pop group Got7 in early 2020 before being cancelled due to COVID-19.<\/p>\n

Live music is now allowed in all venues in Singapore after almost two years, and the capacity limit for mask-on events with more than 1,000 people in attendance has recently been increased to 75%.<\/p>\n

Tickets for the concert at the Singapore Indoor Stadium are now on sale via Sistic with prices ranging from S$128 (\u00a372\/$94\/\u20ac86) for a general admission ticket to S$288 for a VIP ticket.<\/p>\n

Only 500 VIP tickets are available for the concert, but these offer the opportunity for a meet and greet, and a chance to be one of 50 VIP ticket holders that will be allowed to take a picture with A-Lin. VIP tickets also allow the holder to receive a signed poster and a signed copy of her latest album.<\/p>\n

Tickets are set to go on sale from April 11.<\/p>\n

Leslie Ong, group chief executive of concert promoter at Unusual Entertainment, told the Straits Times<\/a> newspaper: \u201cWe are extremely delighted to announce our presentation of the very first concert, after so long, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is now time for us to restart our work to bring in live concerts to satiate the pent-up demand from local concertgoers.\u201d<\/p>\n
