Venue and event management company ASM Global has expanded its content department and brought in\u00a0Duc Nguyen<\/b>\u00a0(pictured left) as vice-president, global content programming.<\/p>\n
Nguyen will report to John Boyle, global chief content officer and will be responsible for content generation for ASM\u2019s arenas, stadiums, theatres and convention centres. Nguyen was previously vice-president of bookings at Allegiant Stadium and a talent buyer for live entertainment company Live Nation. He will be based in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am very excited to join the content team at ASM Global,\u201d said Nguyen. \u201cIt\u2019s a fantastic opportunity to work with some of the world\u2019s most iconic venues and be part of a dynamic operation that encompasses so many live entertainment experiences.\u201d<\/p>\n
Boyle added: \u201cDuc is the consummate pro who knows every detail of the promotion business inside and out. He has an absolute passion for putting on shows and is a fantastic addition to our expanding team.\u201d<\/p>\n
Acrisure Arena in Greater Palm Springs, California has expanded its team with six new hires. The arena will also be the home of the American Hockey League (AHL)\u2019s Coachella Valley Firebirds.<\/p>\n
Scott Feldman<\/b>\u00a0has joined as vice-president of event services;\u00a0Brian Puza<\/b>\u00a0(pictured right) has taken on the role of senior director of operations;\u00a0Brienne Cole<\/b>\u00a0will be the director of ticket operations;\u00a0John Payne<\/b>\u00a0has joined as the senior manager of sales and rendition;\u00a0Zoe Hickel<\/b>\u00a0will be the manager of hockey programming and community relations and\u00a0Mike Rodriquez<\/b>\u00a0has joined Acrisure Arena as accounting manager.<\/p>\n
The new hires will begin their new roles this month.<\/p>\n
John Bolton, senior vice-president and general manager of Acrisure Arena said: \u201cAs we get closer to the opening of the arena in December, you can\u2019t underestimate the importance of putting the right team in place. I\u2019m pleased we\u2019ve been so successful in assembling a diverse array of talent for Acrisure Arena.\u201d<\/p>\n
Goodlive Artists, the booking and touring division of Goodlive, the entertainment company responsible for Lollapalooza Berlin and Melt Festival, has announced a restructure that includes a slight reshuffle.<\/p>\n
Goodlive Artists agencies including Melt!Booking and Nitelive will merge, bringing together their catalogues of rap, R&B, pop, alternative music and dance music artists.<\/p>\n
Nitelive Artists managing director\u00a0Florian Hauss<\/b>\u00a0has become managing partner, while\u00a0Justus Mang<\/b>\u00a0will remain as managing director of Melt!Booking.<\/p>\n
