{"id":1421,"date":"2022-05-06T02:32:45","date_gmt":"2022-05-06T09:32:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.goticketly.com\/index.php\/2022\/05\/06\/domestic-nhs-covid-pass-will-no-longer-be-available-in-england\/"},"modified":"2022-05-06T02:32:45","modified_gmt":"2022-05-06T09:32:45","slug":"domestic-nhs-covid-pass-will-no-longer-be-available-in-england","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.goticketly.com\/index.php\/2022\/05\/06\/domestic-nhs-covid-pass-will-no-longer-be-available-in-england\/","title":{"rendered":"Domestic NHS COVID Pass will no longer be available in England"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> [ad_1]<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The NHS COVID Pass will no longer be available for domestic purposes in England from May 12.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This means that venues and events can no longer request the COVID Pass as a condition of entry.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The COVID Pass has not been legally required to enter venues and events in England since they were scrapped <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theticketingbusiness.com\/2022\/01\/19\/covid-passes-in-england-to-be-scrapped-from-thursday-next-week\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">at the end of January<\/a>, but some businesses and venues had chosen to voluntarily request it to verify patrons\u2019 status.<\/p>\n<p>Passes had been made mandatory in the country in December to limit the spread of the Omicron variant.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The domestic pass allowed users to show coronavirus records to venues or events that wished to view vaccination status.<\/p>\n<p>There was uproar from industry professionals following the introduction of the COVID Pass in England in December.
