Fans of National Football League (NFL) franchise Buffalo Bills have been given a glimpse of what the team might be charging for personal seat licences at the new $1.4bn (\u00a31.1bn\/\u20ac1.3bn) stadium.<\/p>\n
According to an email sent to fans and obtained by The Buffalo News, prices could range between $500 and $16,500 for a personal seat licence.<\/p>\n
Reserved section seating could cost between $1,750 to $7,300 depending on the level of the stadium. However, the newsletter noted that prices at this stage were purely \u2018hypothetical\u2019.<\/p>\n
The Bills recently appointed global premium experiences company Legends<\/a> to lead planning, project management, sales and partnerships for the new stadium project.<\/p>\n The announcement followed the Bills reaching an agreement with New York State and Erie Country<\/a> to build the new stadium in Orchard Park. New York State also committed $600m towards the new stadium project, while Erie Country provided a further $250m.<\/p>\n The NFL and the Bills will provide the remaining $550m with the project predicted to finish as early as 2026.<\/p>\n New York Governor Kathy Hochul was a key figure in keeping the Bills in Buffalo and said that the economic and tax impacts generated would support more than 100% of the public share of the new stadium cost.<\/p>\n The new stadium will have a minimum of 60,000 seats with the Bills focussing on extending the team\u2019s lease on its current home, Highmark Stadium, which expires in 2023.<\/p>\n Architectural design firm Populous was selected by the Bills<\/a> as the architect of record, as reported back in March.<\/p>\n Image: Populous<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
