Floyd Mayweather beat fellow boxer Don Moore in an exhibition fight recently at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi.<\/p>\n
Tickets for the event were only available for just over 20 VIP fans with all tickets sold as an NFT (non-fungible token) as part of the Global Titans Fight Series. The event has been claimed to be the first NFT-related pay-per-view sporting event.<\/p>\n
Those that had purchased an NFT ticket for the Mayweather vs Moore fight had the opportunity to secure gift videos, photos and even a special 3D VIP crystal ticket. Global Titans hopes to put on an event every three months, and is looking to secure more rewards for its NFT-based customers. The NFT ticket-holders were even entered into a competition to win a trip to the debut fight event.<\/p>\n
Cruise festival organiser It\u2019s The Ship is set to host its first on-land event, a party in Pattaya, Thailand.<\/p>\n
The event will be exclusively for holders of its \u2018DuckDrop\u2019 NFTs.<\/p>\n
\u2018It\u2019s The Ship Presents Quack House\u2019 will be held at an undisclosed venue from May 27-30, and invitations can only be obtained via a raffle for owners of It\u2019s The Ship\u2019s \u2018DuckDrop\u2019 line of NFTs.<\/p>\n
The event will It\u2019s The Ship\u2019s first in-person event since November 2019, before the start of the global pandemic.<\/p>\n
Shocap Entertainment and The 7 Fingers are set to debut a hybrid concert, Carry Me Home, on June 4.<\/p>\n
The physical event will be held at Animatrik Film Design studio in Burnaby, Vancouver, where a high-tech motion capture facility will be converted into a theatre for just one day. Carry Me Home is a live broadcast show, where the acrobatic performers are motion capture in mobcap suits and retargeted directly to their avatars in the livestream.<\/p>\n
It is part of the LiViCi Concert Series.<\/p>\n
Sonic Bloom Festival in Colorado will be a fully NFT-ticketed music festival when it takes place from June 16-19.<\/p>\n
The festival will feature art, music, performances, yoga, dance, workshops, installations, education, camping, nature and science.<\/p>\n
Sonic Bloom partnered with Relic Tickets to utilise NFT blockchain ticketing for the festival. Relic has been able to connect festival attendees with pre-event upsells such as parking, merchandiser, showers and more.<\/p>\n
