Canto-pop group Mirror are set to perform 12 concerts at the Hong Kong Coliseum (pictured) in July and August, with tickets being sold under a real-name system for the first time.<\/p>\n
The group announced on Instagram<\/a> that they had \u201cheard\u201d people\u2019s \u201cvoices\u201d and that tickets for upcoming concerts will be sold through ticketing platform Urbtix and \u201cunder the real-name system\u201d.<\/p>\n A spokesperson for the Leisure and Cultural Services Department told Hong Kong\u2019s English daily newspaper The Standard<\/a> that to combat ticket scalping, the department took action to discuss ticket sales and admission with the Mirror concert organisers.<\/p>\n The Leisure and Cultural Services Department welcomed the organiser\u2019s move to adopt the real-name registration for ticket sales.<\/p>\n Acting Secretary for Home Affairs Jack Chan Jich-chi also told the publication that he believed the real-name registration could help to reduce ticket scalping to protect fans, while also giving them a fair shot at purchasing tickets to watch the 12-piece all-male group.<\/p>\n Tickets for the concert at the 12,500-capacity Hong Kong Coliseum will cost between HK$480 ($61\/\u00a349\/\u20ac57) and HK$1,280.<\/p>\n Image:\u00a0Ceeseven\/ CC BY-SA 4.0<\/a>\/ Edited for size<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
