{"id":1631,"date":"2022-05-31T05:52:58","date_gmt":"2022-05-31T12:52:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.goticketly.com\/index.php\/2022\/05\/31\/boston-police-warn-nba-fans-over-counterfeit-tickets\/"},"modified":"2022-05-31T05:52:58","modified_gmt":"2022-05-31T12:52:58","slug":"boston-police-warn-nba-fans-over-counterfeit-tickets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.goticketly.com\/index.php\/2022\/05\/31\/boston-police-warn-nba-fans-over-counterfeit-tickets\/","title":{"rendered":"Boston Police warn NBA fans over counterfeit tickets"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> [ad_1]<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The Boston Police Department (BPD) has warned basketball fans to be wary of counterfeits when purchasing tickets for the upcoming National Basketball Association (NBA) finals between the Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors.<\/p>\n<p>A statement from the police also said that if anyone notices or has information on the sale of counterfeit tickets, they should get in contact with the Boston Police.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Boston Police would like to take this opportunity to remind fans to be wary of counterfeits when purchasing tickets for the upcoming NBA Finals between the Celtics and the Golden State Warriors,\u201d said the statement.<\/p>\n<p>The service also told fans to purchase tickets from authorised sellers, as purchasing tickets from a secondary retailer could be a risk.<\/p>\n<p>The statement added: \u201cThe BPD encourages fans to only buy tickets from authorised ticket agencies. Fans who purchase tickets from a secondary source are taking a chance and do so at the buyer\u2019s own risk. Officers want to proactively curb such activity and encourage buyers to only purchase from official vendors.
