Theatre group Nederlander, which part-owns three venues in London\u2019s West End, has revealed possible plans to expand in the UK.<\/p>\n
Nederlander Organisation is a New York-headquartered theatre company founded in Detroit. It operates theatres and music venues including Brooks Atkinson Theatre, Marquis Theatre and Nederlander Theatre and more in New York, as well as multiple locations across the US.<\/p>\n
It owns or part-owns three venues in the West End including the Dominion, the Aldwych and the Adelphi (pictured), which it co-owns with LW Theatres, a theatre company owned by English composer Andrew Lloyd Webber.<\/p>\n
According to a report from The Stage<\/a>, James L Nederlander, president of the Nederlander Organisation, said: \u201cI would love to expand, I would like to have other theatres in the West End. And theatres in the regions too \u2013 that is always a possibility \u2013 I would never say no to anything.\u201d<\/p>\n Nederlander told The Stage that he always keeps his \u201cear to the ground\u201d when it comes to scouting out new venues.<\/p>\n Current productions include Grease at the Dominion, Tina \u2013 the Tina Turner Musical at the Aldwych and Bask to the Future at the Adelphi.
