The Texas Rangers has appointed TicketManager as its corporate ticket management partner.<\/p>\n
The Major League Baseball (MLB) team said the California-based event and guest management platform will provide ticket management technology and tools to corporate ticket holders to manage and re-sell tickets.<\/p>\n
Rangers corporate customers can now use TicketManager\u2019s services to centralise their ticket inventory \u2013 including tickets for all other teams and events throughout the DFW Metroplex \u2013managing requests, distributing tickets to staff and guests, and tracking usage in real time through reports on which tickets were transferred, to whom and whether they were scanned in venue.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Rangers are committed to providing the best experience to our partners and customers,\u201d said Jim Cochrane, the Rangers\u2019 senior vice president of partnerships and client services. \u201cTogether with TicketManager, our fans will have the very best tools and technology to get the most from their suites, premium seats and season tickets.\u201d<\/p>\n
Rangers partners will be able to recapture the value of any unused tickets by using TicketManager to sell unused tickets on the secondary market using pricing tools to assure the best return without having to take on the work of listing and pricing tickets. Rangers customers will also be able to share their Dallas area tickets for all sports with other companies in the TicketManager All Access Community.<\/p>\n
The Texas Rangers is the first MLB team to partner with TicketManager, with company set to announce a number of new partnerships across sports leagues in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n

TicketManager last year acquired event accreditation and corporate guest management firm Sports Systems<\/a>. The buyout of the rival platform added more than 250 corporate and team customers to TicketManager\u2019s portfolio of companies and teams.<\/p>\n The group\u2019s partners include companies like Verizon, FedEx, Adidas and Mastercard, as well as pro and college sports teams.
