Some 55,000 people flocked to London\u2019s Trafalgar Square last weekend for West End Live, a free celebration of London\u2019s theatre.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The weekend (Saturday June 25 and Sunday 26) was filled with 11 hours of performances from over 50 shows from London\u2019s West End, featuring a total of 541 performers.<\/p>\n

Musicals included favourites such as Hamilton, Wicked, Six, Tina \u2013 The Tina Turner Musical, Dear Evan Hansen, The Book of Mormon, Les Mis\u00e9rables and Come From Away.<\/p>\n

Other shows making their West End Live debuts included Cabaret, Moulin Rouge! The Musical, Legally Blonde (pictured above), Back To The Future \u2013 The Musical, Disney\u2019s Beauty and the Beast and South Pacific.<\/p>\n

And it wasn\u2019t just the attendees that were excited about West End Live, as performances posted on the Official London Theatre\u2019s YouTube channel have accumulated almost 20,000 views.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

West End Live is produced by Westminster City Council and the Society of London Theatre.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
