{"id":1940,"date":"2022-07-12T02:50:44","date_gmt":"2022-07-12T09:50:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.goticketly.com\/index.php\/2022\/07\/12\/bandsintown-extends-assistance-to-independent-venues\/"},"modified":"2022-07-12T02:50:44","modified_gmt":"2022-07-12T09:50:44","slug":"bandsintown-extends-assistance-to-independent-venues","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.goticketly.com\/index.php\/2022\/07\/12\/bandsintown-extends-assistance-to-independent-venues\/","title":{"rendered":"Bandsintown extends assistance to independent venues"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> [ad_1]<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Live music discovery platform Bandsintown is looking to boost independent venues across North America through a partnership with the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA).<\/p>\n<p>Bandsintown has announced exclusive access to its revamped Promoter platform for NIVA members, along with a $100,000 investment of marketing support for indie venues to help them sell out shows more efficiently and rebuild communities across the nation following the challenges of the pandemic and the current cost-of-living surge.<\/p>\n<p>Bandsintown, used by 70 million registered concert-goers, will create free \u2018verified venue\u2019 accounts on its platform for each NIVA member, enabling them to update their profile, with pictures, event data and venue details. These enhanced profiles will boost attractiveness and discoverability of shows, making them more searchable for music fans on the Bandsintown apps, Bandsintown website and via distribution partners including Apple\u2019s Shazam.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIndependent venues are keeping communities alive, and they are instrumental in supporting diversity and building culture. Bandsintown shares the same ethos and is proud to partner with NIVA and its members,\u201d said Fabrice Sergent, Bandsintown\u2019s co-founder and managing partner.<\/p>\n<p>As well as the $100,000 worth of marketing support to help build a stronger independent live music community, Bandsintown will also work hand-in-hand with NIVA to offer free training through ongoing webinars and develop a quarterly newsletter that keeps venues and promoters aware of what\u2019s working and what isn\u2019t in live music marketing.<\/p>\n<p>NIVA members will also be granted access to an exclusive marketing program where they can buy media on the Bandsintown platform at discounted rates with a minimum spend lowered to $50 per campaign versus $150 for non-NIVA members.<\/p>\n<p>Rev. Moose, NIVA\u2019s executive director, said: \u201cWhile we\u2019re grateful to be reopened and to have federal emergency relief, venues, festivals and promoters are still faced with enormous, unexpected expenses and unpredictable hits to revenue in this stage of the pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIndependent venues require attention, funding, support and resources to survive.
