Sports marketing agency The Space Between has been appointed by World Rugby and New Zealand Rugby to deliver a media campaign to reach new audiences and drive ticket sales, ahead of the women\u2019s Rugby World Cup in New Zealand later this year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The Rugby World Cup 2021 \u2018Family Reunion\u2019 digital marketing campaign launched this month, as tickets for the tournament went on general sale on June 30th. The PR campaign has been designed to complement the marketing campaign in order to attract new fans for the upcoming World Cup.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In order to work on the campaign, The Space Between expanded its team with a presence in New Zealand to provide support and help with implementation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n This team will work with Rugby New Zealand and is focused on lifestyle media to expand the reach and engagement of the event.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Joe Pecchia, head of marketing at World Rugby, said: \u201cThe Space Between\u2019s unrivalled knowledge and expertise in women\u2019s sport coupled with their creative spark made them the obvious choice.<\/p>\n \u201cWe have an ambition to make this the biggest and best Women\u2019s World Cup in history and their campaign will help us deliver on this.\u201d<\/p>\n Olivia Boswell will lead The Space Between team in New Zealand and added: \u201cIt\u2019s an honour to represent such a respected international sports marketing agency and lead the team here for the women\u2019s Rugby World Cup PR campaign.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is another major moment for women\u2019s sport in Aotearoa and our engaging and fun, family-focussed campaign will ensure even more New Zealanders know about the event and get involved.\u201d<\/p>\n
