Our weekly tech round-up from the world of ticketing and associated industries\u2026\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n AmazeVR, a virtual reality (VR) concert platform, has announced there will be a second leg of the virtual reality concert tour from rapper Megan Thee Stallion.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The \u2018Enter Thee Hottieverse\u2019 tour sold out at every venue in the first leg of the tour according to AmazeVR. The tour will begin in August in Los Angeles, with additional stops at Austin, Dallas, Detroit, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington DC.<\/p>\n The tour stops are held at selected AMC Theatres and fans are given VR headsets nicknamed \u2018Hottie Mounted Displays\u2019. The concerts last 30 minutes with Megan performing surrounded by back-up dancers and an animated CGI stage.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Singer Lizzo celebrated the release of her \u2018Special\u2019 album last week with an intimate performance and a livestream from the \u2018Lizzoverse\u2019 \u2013 which was hosted at New York\u2019s Cipriani 25.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Attendees were treated to performances of all 12 tracks from her new album, which was also streamed via Amazon Music\u2019s Twitch channel.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Lizzo will begin her arena tour at the end of September.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n US cinema operator Regal, which is a subsidiary of the Cineworld Group, has extended its AR-only digital collectibles program with augmented reality (AR) platform, Moviebill. Fans receive a \u2018Real Collectible Ticket\u2019 as a memento of their movie-going experience.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n All Regal Crown Club members and attendees that purchase tickets through the Regal app will be sent a link to claim their digital collectible. After unboxing, users can access exclusive content only available through the collectible experience.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Regal\u2019s \u2018Real Collectible Tickets\u2019 will be available for major movie releases.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n A new digital immersive arts experience will open in Cardiff, Wales in October, named Tickets for Frameless.
