Ticketmaster has expanded its presence in Asia through the acquisition of Thai Ticket Major (TTM), which is headquartered in Bangkok.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The acquisition is expected to be completed in Q3, subject to customary closing conditions being satisfied.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Ticketmaster has made the move as it believes that live entertainment markets across all major genres like music, sports, theatre and family events, are thriving in the Asia market.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The Live Nation-owned ticketing company has previously expanded in Asia, through the establishment of Ticketmaster Taiwan and Singapore<\/a> in 2020.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n TTM\u2019s current managing director Komkrit Sirirat will continue to lead the local team at the company, which was founded by Tero Entertainment in 1999.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Earlier this month, Live Nation also acquired Tero\u2019s concerts and entertainment division<\/a>.<\/p>\n Mark Yovich, president of Ticketmaster, said: \u201cThailand\u2019s live entertainment industry has seen immense growth over the past few years.
