Our weekly tech round-up from the world of ticketing and associated industries\u2026\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n Video sharing platform Youtube has introduced new tools within YouTube Studio\u2019s Shopping tab, which will enable creators to easily manage the products that are tagged on their channel.<\/p>\n Creators that are eligible for YouTube\u2019s merchandiser program can access live shopping features, like being able to take products to a livestream. YouTube has also partnered with eCommerce services provider Shopify to let creators feature products across their channel.<\/p>\n YouTube has been focussed on expanding its selling capability across livestreams and this year, YouTube has made live events such as Coachella, YouTube\u2019s Beauty Festival and Brazil\u2019s Paulist\u00e3o football tournament, \u2018completely shoppable\u2019.<\/p>\n JackTrip Labs and EnterTalk are set to partner up to host a music showcase full of industry legends. The performance will be powered by JackTrip Lab\u2019s virtual studio and will be streamed via JackTrip Radio.<\/p>\n It will feature acts that have worked with\u00a0the likes of Earth, Wind & Fire, Sir Elton John and ABBA. They will perform live from multiple locations at once. Some of the artists include Larry Dunn, an early member of Earth, Wind & Fire; Roger Friend, a Grammy winning drummer that has performed with ABBA, and Rebecca Jade, a recording artist and singer for Sir Elton John.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m looking forward to performing with the other great talents on July 27th all from my studio. This is an absolutely amazing development in audio technology, from a rehearsal and collaboration standpoint,\u201d said Dunn.<\/p>\n Ticket buying trends from a number of high schools and fans in the US have shown a growing switch to digital ticketing, according to high school digital ticketing platform HomeTown Ticketing.<\/p>\n The platform has seen an increase in tickets purchased through the app and online, and a preference for a touchless solution.<\/p>\n HomeTown Ticketing chairman and chief executive Ryan Hart said: \u201cAdoption of digital ticketing has increased exponentially in the last 18 months, and we don\u2019t expect that trend to slow any time soon.\u201d<\/p>\n English Premier League club West Ham United has made the switch to digital-only season tickets, meaning holders will no longer be able to print tickets at home.
