He said: \u201cI\u2019ve had the pleasure of knowing Stephen Glicken for the last several decades and have continued to be impressed by his business acumen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen he showed me the transformative power that Project Admission is positioned to have on ticketing and live events, I was thrilled at the opportunity to join the board and help its growth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kerrey has also previously been the president of The New School, and from 1989 to 2001 he represented Nebraska in the Senate.<\/p>\n<p>Hospitality technology company, UrVenue, has made two changes to its executive team.<\/p>\n<p><b>Maile Housel <\/b>(pictured)has joined the company as head of product marketing and <b>Simon Kaltgrad<\/b> as director of guest services development and integration strategy.<\/p>\n<p>Housel will be responsible for driving UrVenue\u2019s product strategy, innovation, strategic partnerships and product marketing.<\/p>\n<p>Kaltgrad will work on driving new product and feature development for UrVenue\u2019s platform, while also leading integration strategy.<\/p>\n<p>Deron Pearson, UrVenue chief executive, said: \u201cUrVenue\u2019s resort and hospitality clients all have very diverse and property-specific needs for how they utilise our platform. Maile and Simon bring\u00a0on-the-ground, industry experience to our leadership team that will help to strategically push our product innovation and integration strategy forward.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere and experience technology company Eventbrite has appointed <b>John Adcock<\/b> as its chief people officer.<\/p>\n<p>Adcock will report directly to chief executive Julia Hartz and will lead projects on talent acquisition, development, retention, people operations and rewards.<\/p>\n<p>Hartz, who is also the co-founder of Eventbrite, said: \u201cI am thrilled to welcome John to Eventbrite. His leadership and past accomplishments will help propel us forward into a new era of collaboration, productivity, and winning as a globally distributed team.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe has an impressive track record of cultivating the best talent and overseeing employee development around the world. His leadership will help accelerate our growth, as he understands that building a people-first culture and driving business results go hand-in-hand and are the foundation of a great company.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>AEG Global Partnerships has promoted <b>Kate Sheets<\/b> to the role of senior vice-president, strategy and business affairs.<\/p>\n<p>It is a newly-formed position and Sheets has joined the Global Partnerships team after most recently acting as vice-president, legal counsel for AEG. AEG Global Partnerships looks after worldwide sales and activations for platforms across five continents. This includes venues, sports franchises, events, tours, festivals and digital content.<\/p>\n<p>Sheets will continue to be based in Los Angeles and will report to Nick Baker and Russell Silvers, co-chief operating officers of AEG Global Partnerships.<\/p>\n<p><i>Do you have news of an appointment that we should know about?
