Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has announced it will be pilot a new NFT ticketing solution with Italian Serie A football clubs SS Lazio.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The NFT ticketing will be in place for the upcoming 2022-23 season, and Lazio fans using Binance will be able to claim digital tickets that will give them access to exclusive benefits.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The pilot is part of the ongoing partnership between Lazio and Binance, which was launched back in October last year. Binance was also announced as the main shirt sponsor for a two-year period with an option for a third year.<\/p>\n NFT ticketing will grant fans access to matches at the 72,000-capacity Stadio Olimpico (pictured) as well as opportunities to experience unique activations, discounts and more.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n NFT ticketing also offers a sense of security with verified authenticity and the ability to prevent issues such as counterfeiting and ticket scalping, as well as making ticketing systems more reliable.<\/p>\n Zoe Wei, Binance fan token lead, said: \u201cNFT ticketing, which we are introducing with SS Lazio, introduces a brand new layer of utility features to non-fungible tokens.
