Artist J-Hope, who is also a member of the K-pop band BTS, has become the first South Korean performer to headline at Lollapalooza.<\/p>\n
The festival, which took place in Chicago\u2019s Grant Park, was closed out last night (Sunday) by J-Hope on the Bud Light Seltzer stage. Adjacent stages also hosted performances from band Green Day and duo Polo & Pan.<\/p>\n
Other headline acts included J. Cole, Kygo, Dua Lipa, Machine Gun Kelly, Lil Baby and Metallica.<\/p>\n
J-Hope performed 18 songs across a 70-minute set including new tracks from his just-released debut album \u2018Jack In The Box\u2019. He also performed some BTS songs and welcomed on stage artist Becky G for his 2019 standalone single \u2018Chicken Noodle Soup\u2019.<\/p>\n
The festival was live-streamed on the Hulu platform and also welcomed the debut of Tomorrow X Together, another boy band from South Korea under the same label as BTS.<\/p>\n
