Indian cricket fans could be set to return to watch their beloved national team live, as the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) has been granted permission to have 100% seating capacity at Wankhede Stadium (picture) in Mumbai.\u00a0<\/p>\n
New Zealand are due to tour India in the coming weeks, beginning with a three-match T20 International series followed by two Tests in the World Test Championship in Kanpur and Mumbai.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The MCA has said that following the green light from the Maharashtra Government, there will be 100% seating capacity for the second test, according to reports<\/a>. The MCA had written to the Government to ask for permission to introduce 100% crowds again, following the COVID-19 pandemic.\u00a0<\/p>\n The MCA\u2019s Bandra-Kurla Complex will also play host to a camp in preparation for India\u2019s Test team, ahead of the two-match series against New Zealand.\u00a0<\/p>\n The two-match Test series will be played out as part of the World Test Championship 2021-23 cycle, starting with the match at Green Park Stadium in Kanpur on November 25, and the second Test taking place at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on December 3.\u00a0<\/p>\n Image: Ajay Parthasarathy<\/a>\u00a0on\u00a0Unsplash<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
