ASEAN Music Showcase (AMS) Festival is marking its first in-person event since it was founded in 2020, and has unveiled an all-Asian multi-genre lineup.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The festival is set to bring together some of Asia\u2019s most exciting music acts in Singapore on September 10 and 11.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Each country in ASEAN \u2013 which includes Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Loas, Thailand, Vietnam and Singapore \u2013 will be represented by established and emerging artists.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Hi-hop artist VannDa will represent Cambodia after making his AMS debut last year. His set was viewed nearly two million times on YouTube.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Acts such as Pamungkas, Jakarta-based rapper Basboi, Mad MadMen, Logic Lost, IQIF, Lone and Littlefingers will lead Indonesia\u2019s performances.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Seven acts from the Philippines are set to perform including Cheats, SOS, Kiyo, Fern, KRNA, Young Cocoa and Ace Banzuelo.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Thailand\u2019s line-up will consist of AUTTA, Flower.Far, AINN & FIZZIE and Alec Orachi, while hosts Singapore will be represented by Amateur Takes Control (pictured), Fauxe, Bgourd, Pleasantry, Cues and Ffion.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Four acts from Malaysia will be performing including NYK, Jemson, The Filters and Babychair, a band that is also an official ambassador of TuneCore, a general sponsor of AMS.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Cyrus Chen, head of TuneCore Southeast Asia, said: \u201cTunecore is proud to support an event like ASEAN Music Showcase Festival which celebrates and amplifies the voices of independent artists around the region.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cOur efforts over the last two years have been directed towards elevating local indie scenes in Southeast Asia and helping our artists to level up in their careers, and our partnership only reinforces this further. I\u2019m stoked to announce the inclusion of Babychair, one of our up-and-coming bands from Malaysia as Tunecore\u2019s ambassador in the showcase, as we believe them to be a perfect representation of Malaysia\u2019s vibrant underground scene.\u201d<\/p>\n Laotian acts will include Zamio P and Thinlamphone while a set from Burmese act OAK Soe Khant and Velocity will be available online only.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Guest acts from outside ASEAN will also make an appearance including Taiwanese indie rock bands Huan Huan and I Mean Us.
