SI Tickets, the ticketing site from media brand Sports Illustrated, has unveiled a postseason ticket reservation marketplace.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The platform has also celebrated its first year in operation and has expanded its $10 (\u00a38\/\u20ac9) flat transaction fee on all ticket purchases. Previously, the special fee was only related to patrons using payment service Venmo, but has now been extended to customers using PayPal, credit or debit cards.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n SI Tickets was first launched in June 2021 and the company also claims to offer a 100% guaranteed refund if an event is cancelled for any reason.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n David Lane, chief executive of SI Tickets, said: \u201cOverwhelmingly, we heard the primary pain points for fans buying tickets to live events were the hidden fees and surprise charges at checkout.<\/p>\n \u201cOur first-of-its-kind, fan-first, $10 flat fee pricing model was such a resounding success, we have decided to extend it to include all payment methods. With many sites charging anywhere from 25-35% in fees that aren\u2019t disclosed until check out, we are doubling down on our platform\u2019s already unparalleled pricing transparency and payment flexibility.
