Blackpool\u2019s Winter Gardens has appointed marketing agency Mediaworks to help move its online ticketing in-house.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Mediaworks will help transition the venue from Ticketmaster to create a more personal customer journey online.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Anthony Williams, sales and marketing manager at the Winter Gardens Blackpool, told news outlet Prolific North<\/a>: \u201cTo be working with Mediaworks as we enter this new digital phase for us is really exciting. We wanted to work with an agency as a partner who could share their expertise and knowledge to build on our own rich history.\u201d<\/p>\n He added: \u201cMediaworks is giving us all the tools to help take ownership of a far more personalised customer experience online, from driving awareness to upcoming shows through to ticket purchasing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIt puts the power in our own hands, away from third party platforms, and enables us to reach a far wider range of demographics.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Mediaworks will also look to help Winter Gardens raise brand awareness through online paid search and through social media.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Brett Jacobson, Mediaworks chief executive and founder, said: \u201cWinter Gardens Blackpool is such an iconic name in the history of British entertainment.
