We round up the latest movements from the ticketing ecosystem\u2026<\/i><\/p>\n
Global talent agency UTA has hired music agent Scott Mantell<\/b>, who will be based in Los Angeles.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Mantell started his career in the music industry with APA and most recently served as a partner and co-head of international touring at ICM. He spent almost two decades at ICM and will bring with him his roster of clients, including LL Cool J, Jill Scott, Toni Braxton, D\u2019Angelo, Postmodern Jukebox, Disney Concerts, Jeff Goldblum & the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra and more.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Connect&Go, a provider of integrated attractions management solutions and RFID technology, has appointed Megan Fulbright<\/b> (pictured left) as senior business development director.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Fulbright has more than 25 years of experience in the waterpark and theme park industry, including her most recent position as the director of park operations at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor in Arlington, Texas.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Fulbright said: \u201cI\u2019m thrilled to be joining a team who is so passionate about revolutionising the amusement industry. Connect&Go\u2019s management platform is changing the operator and guest experience from beginning to end.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cAs someone who has lived through many of the pain points that operators experience, I am truly excited to help play a small role in someone else\u2019s success and to make their job just a little bit easier.\u201d<\/p>\n Connect&Go has also made several other key hires this year, including the appointment of former Accesso and ProSlide executive Tara Morandi<\/b>. More recently, Connect&Go welcomed former chief marketing officer at San Diego Zoo Ted Molter<\/b>, who took on the role of senior business development director.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Elsewhere, sports and entertainment company Endeavor has named Richard Weitz<\/b> and Christian Miurhead<\/b> co-chairmen of its WME talent agency. The pair will succeed chairman Lloyd Braun, who is stepping down at the end of this year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Weitz is a WME partner and leader within its scripted television department and represents a number of actors, comedians, musicians, writers, producers and directors. He first joined the Endeavour talent agency \u2013 which eventually became WME \u2013 in 1997.<\/p>\n Muirhead has been with the company for 18 years and has been in the role of chief communications officer since 2014. He first joined the William Morris Agency in 2004 and was named the communications lead in 2008. Following its merger with the Endeavor talent agency in 2009, Muirhead became WME\u2019s head of communications.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Madison Square Garden Sports Corp (MSG Sports) has announced that Andrew Lustgarten<\/b>, the current president and chief executive, will be stepping down at the end of this year. He will join the Board of Directors at the beginning of January.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The company also announced that David Hopkinson, who joined MSG Sports in 2020 as executive vice-president and president of team business operations, has been named president and chief operating officer, effective immediately.
