Tickets were priced at just A$5 (\u00a33\/$3\/\u20ac3) for children for all First Round and Super 12 games, while adult prices start at A$20.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The India vs Pakistan fixture at the MCG (pictured) on October 23 is sold out, with additional <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theticketingbusiness.com\/2022\/08\/25\/icc-releases-standing-tickets-for-india-vs-pakistan-fixture\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">standing<\/a>\u00a0tickets also snapped up within minutes of going on sale.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>An official re-sale platform is also due to be launched closer to the event, where fans can exchange tickets at face value if they can no longer attend.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Current ticket allocations are also sold out for the double-header at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on October 27, which will feature South Africa v Bangladesh and India v Group A runner-up.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>A limited number of tickets remain available for Australia\u2019s opening Super 12 fixture against New Zealand at the SCG on October 22, the double-header featuring Pakistan vs Group A runner-up and India vs South Africa at Perth Stadium on October 30, as well as Pakistan vs South Africa at the SCG on November 3. Tickets are also available for a host of other matches.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Chris Tetley, ICC head of events, said: \u201cWe are delighted by the uptake of tickets for the ICC Men\u2019s T20 World Cup with over 500,000 already being snapped up. The excitement is really building with just over a month to go and this World Cup is set to be an unmissable event.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are still some tickets available to buy, so fans should make sure they secure theirs while they are still available.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>ICC Men\u2019s T20 World Cup chief executive Michelle Enright added: \u201cThe response from fans has been exceptional and shows the excitement for what will be the biggest sporting event hosted in Australia this year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve also seen a spread of support for different teams across the event, which is going to make for an incredible atmosphere at our matches with a strong mix of passionate fans at each venue.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re particularly proud of our accessibly priced tickets for families and it\u2019s great to see that so many kids are going to come out and experience a World Cup.
