{"id":2510,"date":"2022-09-21T05:25:07","date_gmt":"2022-09-21T12:25:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.goticketly.com\/index.php\/2022\/09\/21\/administrators-appointed-for-crumbling-festicket\/"},"modified":"2022-09-21T05:25:07","modified_gmt":"2022-09-21T12:25:07","slug":"administrators-appointed-for-crumbling-festicket","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.goticketly.com\/index.php\/2022\/09\/21\/administrators-appointed-for-crumbling-festicket\/","title":{"rendered":"Administrators appointed for crumbling Festicket"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> [ad_1]<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"primary\">\n<p class=\"standfirst\">Administrators have been appointed for the ailing Festicket, after the festival package company failed to come up with a rescue plan.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to a filing on <a href=\"https:\/\/find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk\/company\/07923345\/filing-history\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Companies House<\/a>, Administrators Lee Manning, Cameron Gunn and Simon Jagger of ReSolve Advisory Limited have been appointed.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Festicket worked with festivals and events as official partners to provide general admission and VIP tickets, which were then bundled together with travel, accommodation and various other add-ons.<\/p>\n<p>In August, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theticketingbusiness.com\/2022\/08\/24\/festicket-moratorium-hints-at-post-pandemic-struggles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Festicket filed a moratorium<\/a>, which typically means that struggling businesses are given formal breathing room to try and come up with a rescue plan. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The moratorium period was then <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theticketingbusiness.com\/2022\/09\/07\/moratorium-filed-by-festicket-ends-suggestions-of-falling-into-administration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">subsequently ended<\/a> by monitors as it was no longer likely to result in the rescue of the company. Filings also suggested that an Administrator be appointed.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>It was then revealed that ticket exchange service <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theticketingbusiness.com\/2022\/09\/09\/lyte-to-acquire-event-genius-assets-as-parent-company-festicket-set-to-fall-into-administration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lyte had agreed to acquire certain assets<\/a> of Event Genius, which was owned by Festicket.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In an update at the time, Event Genius said: \u201cWe can now tell you that an agreement has been made with Lyte for the sale of certain assets from the business, including the technology platforms and employee contracts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGoing forward, Lyte will take over the operation and continue providing our end-to-end event management technology \u2013 while also offering their platform \u2013 to all of our partners.
