FIFA has announced that ticket packages for next year\u2019s Women\u2019s World Cup will go on sale on October 6.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Women\u2019s World Cup is set to take place in Australia and New Zealand, making it the first-ever co-hosted women\u2019s tournament. The event will kick off on July 20 and feature 32 teams competing in 64 matches across nine host cities and 10 stadiums.<\/p>\n
Ticket sales will begin with an exclusive Visa pre-sale from October 6-12 before going on sale to the general public from October 13-21.<\/p>\n
These initial sales will only include ticket-package options, such as a two-stadium specific pass and a home-team pass option for Australia and New Zealand fans. These packages will be available to Visa cardholders first before being made available to those in the Australia and New Zealand football communities.<\/p>\n
Ticket packages will be available on a first-come, first-served basis with prices starting at AUD\/NZD$40 (\u00a324\/\u20ac27\/$26) for adults and AUD\/NZD$20 for children.<\/p>\n
The draw of the FIFA Women\u2019s World Cup 2023 will take place on October 22 following the conclusion of the first ticket sales phase. Following the draw, single match pass ticket sales will begin with another Visa-exclusive ticket pre-sale period from October 25.<\/p>\n
From November 1, all fans will be able to secure tickets to the Women\u2019s World Cup.<\/p>\n
The tournament has the aim of being accessible and affordable for families and young people, with single match tickets starting at AUD\/NZD$20 for adults and AUD\/NZD$10 for children.<\/p>\n
The last minute sales phase will kick off in April 2023 ahead of the FIFA Women\u2019s World Cup.<\/p>\n
Around one million tickets will be on sale during the first sales period. The tournament begins on July 20 at Eden Park in Auckland\/T\u0101maki Makaurau and finishes on 20 August with the Final at Sydney\/Gadigal\u2019s Stadium Australia.<\/p>\n
FIFA secretary general Fatma Samoura said: \u201cAs the first FIFA Women\u2019s World Cup to be held in the southern hemisphere and the first-ever edition to feature 32 teams, the FIFA Women\u2019s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023 will truly be a tournament of firsts, providing an important platform to inspire fans and create a new generation of role models through football.<\/p>\n
