AEG Global Partnerships has promoted Matthew Zweck<\/strong> to vice-president, global partnerships APAC, to oversee the group\u2019s expansion across the Asia Pacific region<\/a>.<\/p>\n Zweck, who has been with the Los Angeles-headquartered group for 10 years, will lead the expansion of the group\u2019s sponsorship division in APAC. He will be based in AEG\u2019s Australian headquarters in Melbourne.<\/p>\n Commenting on LinkedIn, Zweck said: \u201cDelighted to be moving into a new Asia-Pacific focused role within AEG Global Partnerships, as the Global Partnership team presence in the region mirrors the exciting growth planned.<\/p>\n \u201cWe have new world class entertainment venues under construction in key capital markets; Thailand, Japan, South Korea, and are getting ready to approach the market with venue Naming Rights opportunities for these properties, representing an incredible national & global marketing platform. Plus, opportunities in Australia with Frontier Touring.\u201d<\/p>\n Ticketing industry veteran Steve DeMots<\/strong> has become chief commercial officer and head of alliances at social commerce company FEVO.<\/p>\n DeMots joins from Paciolan, where he served as chief revenue officer. Prior to that, he was at Major League Baseball\u2019s Tickets.com.<\/p>\n \u201cAdding Steve to the team is a natural next step for FEVO,\u201d said FEVO Founder and chief executive Ari Daie. \u201cOur mission is to enable our partners to tap into the ever-changing habits of the next generation of buyers and the way they shop online. That requires an amazing product, but it also requires amazing people. And Steve brings a level of experience and depth of knowledge that are second to none.\u201d<\/p>\n Sam Isles<\/strong> has become senior vice-president of Ticketmaster Clubs International across Europe.<\/p>\n Isles joined Ticketmaster to lead TicketWeb UK almost 25 years ago, and later launched the international arm of Ticketmaster\u2019s Artist Services division, leading its market expansion over the last 10 years.<\/p>\n Aydi Tuya<\/strong> has become director of international pricing at Ticketmaster.<\/p>\n She joined the group in 2014 as a business analyst and has held the role of senior pricing manager (global) since December 2021.<\/p>\n Aberdeen Arts Centre has appointed Amy Liptrott<\/strong> to the newly created role of director.<\/p>\n In her new role, Liptrott will play a key part in Aberdeen Arts Centre\u2019s ambitious plans to rejuvenate the iconic venue, while maintaining its heritage and keeping community at its heart.<\/p>\n She was previously at Pitlochry Festival Theatre following spells with Manchester International Festival and the Octagon Theatre in Bolton.<\/p>\n Liptrott said: \u201cI am really excited to be taking up the role and I\u2019m looking forward to guiding the creative and commercial success of the venue. The future for the arts centre depends on it remaining relevant and a hub for creativity and education while maintaining its financial sustainability.\u201d<\/p>\n The Association of Event Organisers (AEO) has appointed Lauren Petchell<\/strong> as project manager.<\/p>\n Petchell will facilitate the AEO working groups, working with each chair to deliver on their group\u2019s strategic objectives. Together with marketing, projects will support AEO members in sharing industry best practice and insights from the groups with its wider membership. Outputs will include case studies, resource hubs and research.<\/p>\n Petchell said: \u201cHaving been absent from the industry for a short time, I am excited to get stuck back in while expanding my knowledge and learning new skills.
