U2 singer Bono is heading out on a 14-city book tour in support of his forthcoming memoir.<\/p>\n
The tour has been organised by Live Nation and Penguin Random House and will feature dates in North America and Europe.<\/p>\n
Kicking off at the Beacon Theatre in New York City on Wednesday, November 2, \u2018Stories of Surrender\u2019 will make stops in Boston, Toronto, Chicago, Nashville, San Francisco, Los Angeles, London, Glasgow, Manchester, Berlin, Paris\u2014and Bono\u2019s hometown of Dublin\u2014 before wrapping on Monday, November 28 in Madrid.<\/p>\n
Live Nation said: \u201cThe book tour is a limited run of theatre dates to mark the release of a memoir in which one of the world\u2019s most iconic artists writes for the first time about his remarkable life and those he has shared it with. Bono will bring the stories of his life to life \u2014 live and in person\u2014 to 14 cities across North America and Europe.\u201d<\/p>\n
Tickets go on sale starting Friday, October 7 at 10am local time and will be available via the Ticketmaster website. Each ticket purchased comes with a copy of Bono\u2019s forthcoming book, Surrender, to be released on November 1, 2022. All tickets purchased online will be delivered as secure mobile tickets.<\/p>\n
\u201cI miss being on stage and the closeness of U2\u2019s audience,\u201d said Bono. \u201cIn these shows I\u2019ve got some stories to sing, and some songs to tell\u2026 Plus I want to have some fun presenting my \u2018me-moir\u2019, Surrender, which is really more of a \u2018we-moir\u2019 if I think of all the people who helped me get from there to here.\u201d<\/p>\n
Stops on the tour include Los Angeles\u2019 The Orpheum Theatre, Boston\u2019s Orpheum Theatre, The London Palladium and Dublin\u2019s 3Olympia Theatre.<\/p>\n
