Live Nation Concerts has appointed Geni Lincoln<\/b>\u00a0(pictured right) as its new president of California region.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In this new role, Lincoln will oversee all booking, marketing and business operations in California for Live Nation Concerts.<\/p>\n Prior to joining Live Nation, Lincoln was the general manager and senior vice-president of live events for the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Previous president of California region Rich Best<\/b> will now join Live Nation\u2019s global promoting team.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Following the announcement of Lincoln\u2019s move to Live Nation, Becky Colwell<\/b> was made general manager for the Kia Forum and vice-president of music and events at Intuit Dome.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Colwell will be responsible for operations and programming at the Kia Forum, as well as the programming of Intuit Dome, leading into and following its opening in 2024. Colwell was previously the general manager of the Greek Theater and started her new role earlier this week.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n She will report to LA Clippers president of business operations Gillian Zucker.<\/p>\n Zucker said: \u201cBecky has earned a reputation for creating best-in-class experiences for all who step foot in the venues she leads and will help us continue to achieve new standards at the Kia Forum and Intuit Dome.\u201d<\/p>\n Theatre charity Stage One has welcomed Deborah Lincoln<\/b> as incoming chair of the board of trustees.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Lincoln takes over the leadership from Mark Burch<\/b>, who has been chair for the previous five years.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Stage One works with, guides and supports emerging entrepreneurial theatre producers through development programmes and mentoring. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Lincoln said: \u201cAs a lifelong theatre-goer, passionate about music, the arts and entertainment, I am excited to be championing Stage One as its new Chair. I look forward to supporting its extraordinary work in training, growing and investing in the next generations of talented commercial theatre producers \u2013 from all backgrounds and communities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIt is an honour and a pleasure to work alongside my fellow Trustees, the excellent Stage One team and our generous partners to support the future of this vibrant and creative industry at such a pivotal time.\u201d<\/p>\n Former Live Nation Music UK chief operating officer John Probyn <\/b>(pictured left)has joined AV tech specialist Solotech as head of business development in Europe.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Probyn spent almost 14 years at Live Nation before moving on to new ventures in 2015. In the newly created role, he will be responsible for the business development of Solotech\u2019s touring activities in Europe, forging new relationships and looking after the company\u2019s existing clients.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Kevin Moore<\/b> has been appointed operations director at Manchester-based events agency, From The Fields.<\/p>\n Moore had previously been with Vision Nine and held multiple roles including festival director, senior festival manager and was most recently a freelance senior event manager. He was also a board member at the Association of Independent Festivals (AIF) between 2019 and 2022.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n From The Fields promotes festivals such as the 40,000-capacity Kendall Calling and Bluedot festival, as well as Cardiff\u2019s Christmas at Bute Park and Bournemouth\u2019s Arts by the Sea.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Do you have news of an appointment that we should know about?
