Blacktown City Council will be given a grant of A$400,000 for its Flavours of Blacktown event.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The City of Canterbury Bankstown will receive a A$1m grant for the Ramadan Nights Lakemba event.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Minister for Multiculturalism Mark Coure said: \u201cTo have 21 different multicultural events hosted by 15 councils across the state\u2019s Six Cities regions is a testament to NSW\u2019s rich cultural and religious diversity.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis funding will help each of these councils take their events and festivals to the next level.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Further councils include Campbelltown City Council, Cumberland City Town, Lake Macquarie City Council, Maitland City Council, Port Stephens Council, Shellharbour City Council, Strathfield Council and Willoughby City Councils.
