Guest were left waiting for hours after the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theticketingbusiness.com\/2022\/11\/21\/fifa-ticketing-app-crashes-causing-fans-to-miss-start-of-england-vs-iran-game\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FIFA Ticketing app crashed<\/a>, with fans reporting that their ticket had disappeared.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Organisers attempted to rectify this by asking fans to queue at a resolution point for paper tickets.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Hundreds of fans have continued to struggle with accessing their digital passes, according to reports.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Associated Press (AP) <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/world-cup-iran-technology-sports-soccer-bc4555bf41360cbc56c4be33386ab0fe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> that handwritten paper tickets were given to some fans trying to enter the match yesterday between France and Australia at Al Janoub Stadium, just 40 minutes before the start.<\/p>\n<p>AP also reported that some fans were advised to show security staff their emails from FIFA confirming a ticket purchase and seat number.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>FIFA has also raised the Qatar 2022 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thestadiumbusiness.com\/2022\/11\/23\/fifa-lifts-qatar-2022-official-stadium-capacities\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">stadium capacities<\/a> this week, after questions were raised over the stated attendances.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>According to the world football governing body, attendances had been much higher than stated capacities.
