Live entertainment, ticketing, digital and data company Ticketek has appointed Danny Hannaford<\/b>\u00a0(pictured left) as its UK general manager.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Hannaford boasts over 13 years of experience in ticketing operations and has worked with a number of venues and organisations in the live entertainment industry, including the Hammersmith Apollo, AEG Presents and Global Live.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n He was also responsible for the launch and management of Twickets Resale in Australia and was also the lead on global ticketing operations at Dice. Most recently, Hannaford managed ticketing strategy and digital delivery for The O2 Arena in London.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Hannaford will report to Ticketek managing director Cameron Hoy.<\/p>\n \u201cDanny is an experienced and accomplished ticketing executive who will lead our UK team with commitment, integrity and passion,\u201d said Hoy.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span>\u201cIn addition to Danny\u2019s extensive ticketing knowledge he has a demonstrated track record of digital transformation and innovation and I look forward to his contribution to our global ticketing leadership team.\u201d<\/p>\n Hannaford added: \u201cI am delighted to be joining Ticketek UK and have the opportunity to work with a business that thinks differently about ticketing. I am really looking forward to and joining a great team that is already delivering impressive growth in this market.\u201d<\/p>\n Primary ticketing software provider Vivenu has hired Maximilian Stoll<\/b>\u00a0(pictured right) as director of festivals, Europe. In the newly created position, he will promote the distribution of Vivenu\u2019s ticketing software in the festival industry in Europe.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI am extremely excited to join Vivenu,\u201d said Stoll. \u201cHaving worked in the ticketing software industry for the past five years, I feel I have a distinctive outlook that I can bring to the company. There is so much room for innovation in the ticketing sector, and the innovative product being developed here is doing exactly that \u2013 giving back control to the organiser.\u201d<\/p>\n Prior to joining Vivenu, Stoll was responsible for the international sales of software solutions for festivals in management positions, most recently as commercial director, Europe for event service provider Lyte. Stoll has also held positions at ticketing platform Event Genius and its sub-brands.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Simon Weber, co-founder of Vivenu, added: \u201cWe are extremely pleased that we were able to find the perfect candidate for this task in Maximilian Stoll. His extensive experience and deep network in the industry will be instrumental in bringing Vivenu\u2019s innovative ticketing solution to an even wider circle of ambitious festival organisers in Europe and helping them accelerate their growth.\u201d<\/p>\n Sony Music Publishing has appointed Mich\u00e8le Hamelink<\/b> as managing director of Benelux.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n As managing director, Hamelink will oversee creative strategy across the Benelux region and will report to Guy Henderson, president of international. Hamelink will also hold a dual role as senior A&R, Europe, where she will continue to develop the music publisher\u2019s international roster and advancing global opportunities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Premium ticketing marketplace Seat Unique has appointed Simeon Klein<\/b> as its European general manager.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Klein will focus on engaging with rights holders across Europe and maximising the value of their experiences.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cSeat Unique was an opportunity I just couldn\u2019t say no to,\u201d said Klein. \u201cThere are a few fundamentals that I have held since the start of my career; a market ready for disruption, a strong product offering, a customer-obsessed team and inspiring founders.
