{"id":318,"date":"2021-12-01T02:22:27","date_gmt":"2021-12-01T10:22:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.goticketly.com\/index.php\/2021\/12\/01\/people-asm-global-eventim-sweden-and-more\/"},"modified":"2021-12-01T02:22:27","modified_gmt":"2021-12-01T10:22:27","slug":"people-asm-global-eventim-sweden-and-more","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.goticketly.com\/index.php\/2021\/12\/01\/people-asm-global-eventim-sweden-and-more\/","title":{"rendered":"People: ASM Global, Eventim Sweden and more\u2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> [ad_1]<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>We round up the latest movements from the ticketing sector and associated industries\u2026\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Venue management and entertainment company ASM Global has announced that\u00a0<strong>Jason Oberlander<\/strong>\u00a0(pictured left) has been made the chief commercial officer.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Oberlander will oversee ASM Global\u2019s plans to expand its partnerships, seek new opportunities in naming rights and marketing at arenas, stadiums, theatres and convention centres.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>ASM Global president and chief executive Ron Bension said: \u201cWe have the scale, consumer touchpoints and ability to integrate brands in \u2013 to music, sports, business, tech and more \u2013 that will drive value for the brands, content providers, venue partners and guests.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJason\u2019s extensive experience, particularly with IMG in forging new national partnerships with Fortune 1000 brands, will provide far and away the most diverse and enriching opportunities the industry has ever seen.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Oberlander added: \u201cASM\u2019s growth potential is unlimited. We\u2019re the world\u2019s largest live-event marketing platform, which enables us to deliver fan-engagement opportunities to brands across the guest journey; and we can do it on a scale that no one else can deliver.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFans are craving live-event experiences more than ever, and brands will want to be a part of those moments. No one has the breadth of events, venues, tenant partners and boots on the ground like ASM. At a full run, there are 164 million people coming through our venues. That\u2019s more than the four major US professional sports leagues combined. We are very excited to show brand partners what we\u2019re planning.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere,\u00a0<strong>Marcia Titley<\/strong>\u00a0(pictured right) has been appointed the new managing director of Eventim Sweden. Titley is currently the managing director of Eventim Norway \u2013 and will remain in this role in addition to being the managing director of Sweden \u2013 for almost four years and is also part of the Eventim Scandinavia management team.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Titley said: \u201cIt has been very exciting to introduce Eventim solutions to the Norwegian market. I\u2019m looking forward to working closely with the Swedish team, and sharing our experiences and expertise from Norway,to further grow our business in Sweden and in Scandinavia as a whole.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>CEO of Eventim Scandinavia Jens B. Arnesen added: \u201cI am convinced Marcia will bring a lot of best practices into the Swedish market and will be able to carry out our growth strategy together with the local team. In collaboration with our Scandinavian support and marketing teams we are able to help our partners by providing both local and cross border experience.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rhys Cadogan<\/strong>\u00a0has joined TicketSellers and Eventree in the role of commercial director. Cadogan originally joined the business in November 2020 as sales director and has over six years of experience within the events industry.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Cadogan said: \u201cThis is an exciting time for TicketSellers and Eventree and I\u2019m pleased to have been given this opportunity to solidify our reputation as one of the leading providers of ticketing and crew management. We have some exciting plans and announcements in the pipeline and we look forward to growing together as a company and working alongside all our fantastic clients.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>CEO Phil Hayes added: \u201cThere are hundreds of ticket agents, but only a handful which offer anything more than just a platform to sell tickets. We\u2019re proud to be one of those which adds a huge amount of value to their clients, and excited to grow the client success team under Rhys\u2019s leadership.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sam Corbett<\/strong>\u00a0has re-joined LiveBuzz, a provider of services to the UK exhibition industry, as the operations director. LiveBuzz was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theticketingbusiness.com\/2021\/10\/29\/see-tickets-acquires-livebuzz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">recently acquired<\/a> by independent ticket company See Tickets.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Rob Wilmshurst, group CEO of See Tickets, said: \u201cSam has been on our radar for some time as a person who could help us move into this segment. It\u2019s perfect he is re-joining LiveBuzz following our acquisition of the business.
