The demand resulted in Kay adding a number of extra dates to the already lengthy tour.<\/p>\n<p>Kay is the first performer to hold a monthly residency at The O2 and will be performing a show at the venue every month until April 2025. Here\u2019s to many joyful nights in the years to come,\u201d said Kay.<\/p>\n<p>The comedian last performed at The O2 as part of his 2010 tour, which still officially ranks with the Guinness Book of World Records as the biggest selling comedy tour of all time.<\/p>\n<p>Emma Bownes, vice-president of venue programming, Europe, at The O2, said: \u201cWe\u2019re absolutely thrilled to welcome Peter Kay back to The O2, this month and every month until April 2025.
