Ticketing, hospitality and travel experiences company QuintEvents has announced that Brian Ruede<\/b>\u00a0(pictured) is set to become chief executive.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Ruede, who has served in various roles at QuintEvents, including in his most recent position as president and chief operating officer, will take on his new role on January 1. He will be replacing current CEO Brian Learst<\/b>, as he transitions into his new role as executive chairman.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIt has been an indescribable experience to have participated in Quint\u2019s meteoric rise over the past years,\u201d said Ruede. \u201cI look forward to serving the organisation in my new role as CEO, and a continued engagement with Brian Learst, as executive chairman, on our strategic growth strategy. We are just getting started.\u201d<\/p>\n Learst added: \u201cIt is very gratifying to see a business model we pioneered result in such a successful business that is benefitting so many people around the globe. I am extremely excited to see what it will become in the next 20 years with Brian Ruede leading this world-class management team and staff.\u201d<\/p>\n Christian Terrill<\/b> is set to leave LW Theatres at the end of this month after six years.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Terrill said in a post on LinkedIn<\/a>: \u201cI\u2019ve had a fantastic journey with LW Theatres through the joys and challenges over the last six years. I\u2019ve enjoyed working to improve the technology infrastructure, renew and transform IT services, implement new governance processes, and help LW Theatres get on the right path for the future.<\/p>\n \u201cWorking across ticketing technology, project and programme management, technology strategy, we\u2019ve created a data warehouse which is used for operational, financial, and KPI reporting, we overhauled the customer journey, created new eCommerce solutions for F&B pre-purchase, and all-in-all improved the whole technology ecosystem.\u201d<\/p>\n Tapahtumateollisuus, Finland\u2019s Event Industry Association, has appointed a new CEO in Sami Kerman<\/b>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n He will take on the new role in mid-January and will be responsible for managing operations and finances, and much more.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The organisation was founded during the COVID-19 pandemic, and includes more than 260 companies from across the events industry. Kerman is joining the association from the Finnish Fire Protection Association, where he worked as communications and public relations manager.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Do you have news of an appointment that we should know about?
