Stockholm-headquartered access solutions provider, ASSA ABLOY, has acquired Janam Technologies, a provider of handheld mobile computers and readers.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The acquisition was completed through identity solutions technology provider, HID Global, which is part of the ASSA ABLOY Group.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Janam\u2019s acquisition will aim to enhance HID\u2019s events access portfolio and improve the experience for fans globally. With many venues moving from physical tickets with manual inspection to digital tickets and RFID\/NFC readers, the acquisition will help HID to increase its presence in the event access space.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n US-based Janam offers products such as handheld devices, pedestal and kiosk products for venue access.
