It will be the first time Money In The Bank ladder matches will take place in the UK. Each winner will receive a briefcase containing a contract for a championship match at any time and any location of their choosing, over the next year.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Dan Ventrelle, executive vice-president of talent at WWE, said: \u201cThe O2 is one of the world\u2019s premier venues and the perfect home for Money In The Bank. We are excited to bring one of our \u2018Big 5\u2019 events to the UK and look forward to welcoming the WWE Universe to London on July 1.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Christian D\u2019Acu\u00f1a, senior programming director at The O2, added: \u201cWe are honoured to be hosting the first ever Money In The Bank event taking place in the UK here at The O2. We\u2019re looking forward to welcoming back WWE fans to The O2 this summer for an unforgettable night with some of WWE\u2019s biggest superstars.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The announcement follows the success of Cardiff\u2019s Clash At The Castle in September last year, which was the first major WWE stadium show to be held in the UK since 1992.
