The National Basketball Association (NBA)\u2019s Cleveland Cavaliers recently launched its Cavs United Gold Pass, which will offer holders unique and unprecedented experiences.\u00a0<\/p>\n
As a founding Cavs United Gold Pass holder, fans will have access to Cavs gear, in-arena experiences, member-only premium enter-to-win opportunities, as well as discounts throughout the 2022-23 season.<\/p>\n
On top of securing discounts for the current season, being a Cavs United Gold Pass holder also means that fans have first access to purchase further Gold benefits the season after.<\/p>\n
New perks will be added each month and only Gold Pass holders will be able to claim them.<\/p>\n
The pass is available through non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace, Sweet, and will cost fans $299 (\u00a3245\/\u20ac276).<\/p>\n
Betsy Proctor, executive vice-president of global partnerships at Sweet, said in a post on LinkedIn<\/a>: \u201cThis is the true meaning of Web3.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s really fun to watch real fans do the math, watch the gears turn, and the lightbulbs go off.
