Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain is set to meet a small village team from France\u2019s regional sixth footballing tier, with over 30,000 tickets having been sold for the French Cup (Coupe de France) tie. <\/p>\n
US Pays de Cassel, which represents a few villages in the far north of France, will take on the French giants \u2013 a team that features the likes of Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar Jr \u2013\u00a0at the Stade Bollaert Delelis (pictured).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n According to a report from AFP<\/a>, 30,000 tickets were snapped up in nine hours, so it is more than likely that there will be a full attendance at the 38,223-capacity stadium, which is traditionally home to Ligue 1 side Lens.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n US Pays de Cassel had originally been handed a bye to reach the last 32 stage, after being drawn in the last round against two sides that were initially kicked out of the competition.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Reims Sainte-Anne and Wasquehal, which both compete in the Championnat National 3 respectively, were originally disqualified after their tie was abandoned in November following a mass brawl.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n However the organisers of the competition overturned the decision and Wasquehal went on to beat Reims Sainte-Anne on penalties.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Pays de Cassel then went on to win in a penalty shoot-out against Wasquehal to reach the current round and face PSG.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The president of Pays de Cassel, Gabriel Bogaert, told France Blue Nord<\/a>: \u201cWe made prices ranging from \u20ac10 to \u20ac40 because the goal is to fill the stadium and please the players. We wanted to make affordable prices. The operation is currently successful, and the club allows itself the opportunity to open additional stands if necessary.\u201d<\/p>\n The match will take place on Monday.<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p><\/div>\n
