Live Company Group (LVCG)\u2019s Live Company Sports and Entertainment (LCSE) division, which manages the 2023 Formula E Cape Town E-Prix in South Africa, has said that 15,000 tickets have been sold for the event so far. <\/p>\n
The Surrey-headquartered live events, entertainment and sport events company said that roughly 70% of the 21,000 tickets have been sold.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n LVCG expects the event to sell out within the next seven to 10 days.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The full 3,400 of possible VIP\/corporate hospitality seats have already been sold and LVCG will also be hosting 30 guests in the track-side lounge, including South African company Crystal Partners.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n LVCG also announced that it had amassed a number of sponsorships with Nedbank, Uber, E-TV, Nissan, South African Tourism, Western Cape Government and the City of Cape Town.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Grandstand seating and other race infrastructure is already in place for the race, which will take place February 25.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n David Ciclitira, chairman of Live Company Group, said: \u201cI am so proud to be a part of this project with my fellow partners Bruce Parker-Forsyth and Iain Banner. It has been an incredible journey to reach this point. I\u2019d like to congratulate Bruce who heads the staging team on his amazing achievements.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWhat\u2019s particularly exciting is that at the same time as LCSE\u2019s involvement in Formula E we are also hosting the premier team sailing event \u2013 The Ocean Race. The stage 3 leg of this race departs from Cape Town waterfront on Sunday 26th, the day after the Formula E.\u201d<\/p>\n Bruce Parker-Forsyth, chief executive of LCSE, added: \u201cWe opened the Ocean Race Village midday [on Thursday] with the Mayor of Cape Town Geordin Hill-Lewis and then 3 hours later he opened the Cape Town e-prix track \u2013 so it was a big day for Live Company Sports & Entertainment.\u201d<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p><\/div>\n
