Ticketing and live entertainment services company CTS Eventim has delivered a strong business performance in 2022, according to its preliminary results.\u00a0<\/p>\n
While the full report for last year will be published at the end of March, CTS Eventim has said that consolidated revenue rose by 372% year on year, from \u20ac408m (\u00a3363m\/$434m) in 2021 to \u20ac1.9bn in 2022.<\/p>\n
The figure means that the company\u2019s revenue has reached a new all-time high, which is an improvement of 33% compared to the previous record figure from 2019, prior to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n
In the ticketing segment, revenue amounted to \u20ac541m in 2022 compared to the previous year\u2019s \u20ac224m. The figure is also 12% more than in 2019 where revenue totalled \u20ac482m.<\/p>\n
Normalised EBITDA equated to \u20ac263m in 2022 compared to the previous year\u2019s \u20ac177m \u2013 this is also a 20% increase on 2019\u2019s \u20ac220m.<\/p>\n
The live entertainment segment\u2019s revenue reached \u20ac1.41bn in 2022, compared to 2021\u2019s \u20ac191m and a 43% increase on 2019\u2019s \u20ac986m.<\/p>\n
Normalised EBITDA for the live entertainment sector reached \u20ac121m last year, an increase of 2021\u2019s \u20ac31m, and almost twice as high as 2019\u2019s total of \u20ac66m.<\/p>\n
