The space has also been used by MGA Academy of Performing Arts.<\/p>\n<p>Schaufuss also owns Saint Stephen\u2019s Church, another venue in the Scottish city, where he presented a dance version of Hamlet starring Ian McKellen during last year\u2019s Edinburgh Fringe.<\/p>\n<p>The Rose Theatre is a Grade B-listed venue and includes a 340-seat main hall, a 130-seat basement theatre, a 100-seat studio, a cabaret bar and an attic performance space. The venue also boasts rehearsal spaces, dressing rooms and a self-contained flat.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-83357\" src=\"https:\/\/www.theticketingbusiness.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/TheRoseTheatreCrop-300x154.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"806\" height=\"414\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.theticketingbusiness.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/TheRoseTheatreCrop-300x154.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.theticketingbusiness.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/TheRoseTheatreCrop-1024x526.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.theticketingbusiness.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/TheRoseTheatreCrop-768x394.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.theticketingbusiness.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/TheRoseTheatreCrop-500x257.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.theticketingbusiness.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/TheRoseTheatreCrop.jpg 1287w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 806px) 100vw, 806px\"\/><\/p>\n<p>It is listed with estate agents Rettie, which is seeking offers of more than \u00a33m for the property.<\/p>\n<p>The Rose Theatre was originally built in 1912 and operated as a church for over 100 years, before it was bought by Schaufuss in 2016 and converted into a performing arts venue.
