MLB and its teams will also have access to SeatGeek\u2019s analytical tools and database of event-goers.<\/p>\n<p>MLB\u2019s chief revenue officer Noah Garden said: \u201cSeatGeek is a data-driven company that is relentlessly focused on improving the fan experience from purchase to post-game. We\u2019re eager to tap into SeatGeek\u2019s extensive user base across numerous categories to reach an even wider audience of potential attendees.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>SeatGeek co-founder Russ D\u2019Souza added: \u201cBaseball is the largest spectator sport in the world in terms of total attendance, and the nature of the league\u2019s 162-game season makes it ripe for innovation on the ticket resale side of the business.
