{"id":3829,"date":"2023-03-02T08:23:52","date_gmt":"2023-03-02T16:23:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.goticketly.com\/index.php\/2023\/03\/02\/mls-announces-multi-year-deal-with-ticketmaster\/"},"modified":"2023-03-02T08:23:52","modified_gmt":"2023-03-02T16:23:52","slug":"mls-announces-multi-year-deal-with-ticketmaster","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.goticketly.com\/index.php\/2023\/03\/02\/mls-announces-multi-year-deal-with-ticketmaster\/","title":{"rendered":"MLS announces multi-year deal with Ticketmaster"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> [ad_1]<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"primary\">\n<p class=\"standfirst\">Major League Soccer (MLS) has announced a multi-year agreement with Ticketmaster to become the league\u2019s official ticketing partner.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ticketmaster has replaced SeatGeek, which signed a multi-year deal with MLS <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theticketingbusiness.com\/2016\/02\/01\/seatgeek-scores-with-mls-partnership\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in 2016<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Each club in the MLS typically sells its own tickets under individual partnership agreements, though Ticketmaster currently holds partnerships with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsbusinessjournal.com\/Daily\/Morning-Buzz\/2023\/03\/02\/ticketmaster-replaces-seatgeek-as-mls-ticketing-partner.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">17 of the 29 MLS clubs<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Live Nation-owned ticketing platform will also work with MLS to develop tailored solutions during the length of the partnership.<\/p>\n<p>MLS is currently in its 28th season and the partnership will accompany the league on its journey towards the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which is set to be hosted by the US, Canada and Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>Gary Stevenson, MLS deputy commissioner, and president and managing director of MLS Business Ventures, said: \u201cAs we begin the 2023 season, we are pleased to announce our multi-year partnership with Ticketmaster.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTicketmaster offers an unmatched set of technology, tools and expertise which will serve to accelerate the growth of our fanbase.
