{"id":3938,"date":"2023-03-16T04:57:04","date_gmt":"2023-03-16T11:57:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.goticketly.com\/index.php\/2023\/03\/16\/ticket-resale-bill-advances-in-florida\/"},"modified":"2023-03-16T04:57:04","modified_gmt":"2023-03-16T11:57:04","slug":"ticket-resale-bill-advances-in-florida","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.goticketly.com\/index.php\/2023\/03\/16\/ticket-resale-bill-advances-in-florida\/","title":{"rendered":"Ticket resale bill advances in Florida"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> [ad_1]<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"primary\">\n<p class=\"standfirst\">A bill that would require ticket sellers in Florida to let buyers sell or transfer their tickets after purchase has advanced.<\/p>\n<p>Members of the Senate Commerce and Tourism Committee voted 6-3 earlier this week for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flsenate.gov\/Session\/Bill\/2023\/388\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SB 388<\/a>, which would mean ticket-holders would be able to donate, transfer or resell tickets to a live event.<\/p>\n<p>As per <a href=\"https:\/\/floridapolitics.com\/archives\/595419-senate-panel-grants-admission-to-bill-requiring-transferable-event-tickets\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Florida Politics<\/a>, Republicans chair Jay Trumbull, vice-chair Tom Wright and members Nick DiCeglie, Ed Hooper, Travis Hutson and Ana Maria Rodriquez all voted for the measure.
