Founded in 2008, the three-day, 30,000-per-day capacity festival takes place annually at Hong Kong\u2019s Central Harbourfront Event Space.<\/p>\n<p>Clockenflap, led by Justin Sweeting and Mike Hill, also organises regular touring concerts in Hong Kong under the brand Clockenflap Presents, with recent sold-out shows announced for Cigarettes After Sex and Honne.<\/p>\n<p>The Clockenflap team will continue to curate, manage and produce its festivals and events, now with access to Live Nation\u2019s festival portfolio and resources.<\/p>\n<p>Live Nation said the partnership with Clockenflap comes as events across Asia, particularly in Hong Kong, \u201care seeing a bloom in activity\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Roger Field, president of Live Nation Asia Pacific, said: \u201cPartnering with Clockenflap further demonstrates that Live Nation is committed to bringing world-class festivals and live entertainment experiences to Hong Kong fans.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur team is dedicated to supporting Mike, Justin and their team\u2019s exceptional skills and capabilities, and through Live Nation\u2019s global network we will enhance and grow the Clockenflap brand and deliver new and exciting live opportunities to the region.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The recent Clockenflap Music and Arts Festival featured Arctic Monkeys, The Cardigans and Wu-Tang Clan. The next edition will take place in December 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Sweeting, co-founder and music director of Clockenflap said the support and resources Live Nation brings will help Clockenflap Music and Arts Festival cement its position as one the best city festivals in the world.<\/p>\n<p>He said: \u201cIt was a wonderful feeling seeing a capacity crowd at the festival last weekend \u2013 Clockenflap has one of the most positive and open-minded audiences in the world.
