StubHub has been announced as the first MLB authorised ticket marketplace.<\/p>\n<p>MLB will continue to form non-exclusive partnerships with other secondary ticket providers to create further authorised ticket marketplaces.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year, StubHub was ousted as MLB\u2019s official ticket marketplace and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theticketingbusiness.com\/2023\/02\/27\/seatgeek-chosen-as-mlbs-official-ticket-marketplace\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">replaced with SeatGeek<\/a>. The authorised ticket marketplaces will complement the SeatGeek official ticket marketplace.<\/p>\n<p>Noah Garden, MLB chief revenue officer, said: \u201cMLB\u2019s new ticketing model is designed to put fans first. With our long-standing partnership in the secondary ticketing space, it is only fitting that StubHub is the first to join the new program.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur approach will give fans an even wider array of platform options to ensure that the tickets they are buying on the secondary market are legitimate.
